What is Indy Hematology Education?

Indy Hematology Education (IHE) is a nonprofit organization committed to advancing hematology and oncology education. Since 2003, we have hosted and sponsored the annual Indy Hematology Review™ (IHR) symposium, along with other key events such as the CONCERT Network, the DRIVE Meeting, and the Nursing and Allied Providers Symposium (see our events page for a full list). Our mission is to provide high-quality educational opportunities to current and future medical professionals who may not otherwise have access, ultimately improving patient outcomes in the communities we serve.

With over 700,000 medically underserved individuals in Indiana, we recognize the critical need for education on hematologic and oncologic diseases, particularly blood cancers. By fostering informed discussions, promoting intellectual growth, and equipping providers with the latest advancements, IHE serves as a vital resource in raising awareness, enhancing prevention efforts, and supporting early detection. Through our work, we aim to make a lasting impact on patient care and healthcare equity.

What are our goals?

• Raise awareness and provide education regarding hematology and oncology diseases and disorders;

• To encourage youth to pursue careers in hematology and oncology; and

• To connect individuals suffering from or affected by hematology and oncology diseases and disorders to organizations, programs, and service providers.
